A personal message from our CEO…  "Our desire is to conduct our business with such a high degree of honesty and integrity that people will ask “What makes the difference at PASVALCO?"

Our core values include a desire to treat each contact with respect and concern for their needs no matter how large or small the purchase may be.  We do not believe that profit, although vitally important, is the only goal.  We desire to provide quality products at reasonable prices with the understanding that if our customers and vendors can’t make a profit working with PASVALCO, we won’t be around very long.  Our future success is tied to the success of our customers, suppliers and employees.

Likewise, in developing our employees to their maximum potential we believe that Christian leadership means to use the job to complete the employee, not just to use the employee to accomplish a job.

Toward this end, we believe that there is nothing more important in a person’s life than a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  THAT is what makes the difference at PASVALCO.  We trust you will see it lived out in our daily efforts on your behalf and ask you to consider your relationship with the Creator of the universe and our only hope for eternal life.  Please allow me to share with you what God says in the Bible about how we can know we will have eternal life with Him.

Even apart from the Bible, God tells us that all people are "without excuse" in not believing God exists.  According to God, He has made His existence "plain to man."

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made so that men are without excuse" (Romans 1:20).

In the Bible, we are told that the one thing that separates us from having a relationship with God is sin.  While some people are greater "sinners" than others, it is very clear we all have sinned.  In one respect, you could say that we are all in the same boat together...  and it is sinking.

"There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:22b-23).

 

"For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23a).

Our sin not only separated us from God but unless dealt with means that we will not have eternal life.  The result of our sin is death or eternal separation from God.  That's why the Bible says man without God is "lost."

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost" (Luke 19:10).

We might say that's the bad news!  The good news is that God loves us with an infinite love.  He has sent His Son to die for us so that we might have a Savior.  Salvation through Jesus Christ is a free gift and available to all who will trust Him!

"... the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23b).

"For God so Loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

It is very clear from the Bible that a person is not saved by being good or even by being religious.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).

A person is saved when he or she comes to the Savior and believes in Him, saying, for example, "Lord, I believe You died and rose for me, and I ask You to forgive me of my sin; I trust in you for eternal life."  Believing is God means more than just believing He exists; it means trusting in Him for forgiveness.  Trusting in Christ is the only thing that can deal with the sin that separates us from God.  And the moment we "believe," we can have the assurance of eternal life!

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him Who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life" (John 5:24).

The Bible does not talk about religion but a relationship with God Himself.  In fact, Jesus defines eternal life for us.

"Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom You have sent" (John 17:3).

And we can know for certain that we have eternal life!

"But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you might have life in His name" (John 20:31).

It is a wonderful thing to have a relationship with the Creator of the universe and to know that you have eternal life and are secure in Him.  I suppose John 3:36 sums up what I've been saying:

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life..."

I certainly respect your privacy and trust that I haven't annoyed you in sharing these thoughts with you.  Since God has forgiven me and changed my life, I only desire to share with you how you can know for sure you have eternal life.  If you have any questions or if I can help you in any way, please don't hesitate to call.
